A Day in the Life of a Dragonfly.

A Day in the life of a little Dragonfly from Dragonfly's Early Learning at Coolum Beach is often a very busy one.

This week, the children had a really fun day starting with dancing. Children love to dance. Not only does it engage all aspects of a child's physical development but it awakens the inner creativity in all children allowing them to hear a piece of music and decide how their body can best respond to it.

They then moved on to building with blocks. This is challenging in other ways but still awakening their creativity. They talk to each other and make decisions together.

Storytime involved learning about the seasons. They learned about winter and Miss Emily through a story then moved outside to enjoy their own season....the rainy season. They loved getting into their wet weather gear and playing in the rain.

As the day proceeded, they climbed the obstacle course and drew beautiful pictures.

They dug holes in the sand and read some more books. It was such a busy day and they loved it. The busier the better!

I wonder if they gave the normal response to the question when Mum or Dad asks "What did you do at Kindy today"? My children always said....."Nothing"
