Wet Weather Activities

When faced with a very wet and rainy day, similar to what we have had for the past couple of weeks, outdoor play is almost mission impossible. We then need to look around to see what we can introduce to provide lots of fun and keep those enquiring little minds active and interested.

Bedtime doesn't have to be the only time that you take refuge in a story. A rainy day, stuck indoors is a fantastic opportunity to snuggle up and get those little imaginations soaring within the pages of a great book!!

Reading doesn't have to be passive. You can introduce funny faces, funny voices, little ditties or even challenge the children to act out the story. All can provide some relief for an otherwise damp day.
