Water Play

The children at Dragonfly's Early Learning at Coolum Beach do lots of learning activities every day aimed at increasing their knowledge through play

Children love water and so this activity will be very popular and it is not difficult to get the children to participate

Through this water play activity children get to:

Play in the water

Fill and empty containers to learn about full and half full

Recognise and discuss colours

Recognise and discuss whether the objects float or sink

Add other objects to the mix to see how they behave

Discuss alternatives and solve problems
