Watch Me, Watch Me.

Walking, running, dancing, climbing and balance are all gross motor skills. Gross Motor development involves the larger, stronger muscle groups of the body

In early childhood, it is the development of these muscles that enable a baby to hold his or her head up or for older children to walk, run, skip, climb and balance

At Dragonfly's Early Learning at Coolum Beach, the Educators ensure that the little ones get to use these skills each day. Dragonfly's has such beautiful outdoor areas dedicated specifically to each age group that the children have easy access to play equipment for climbing and balancing and lots of room to play, skip and run.

The educators get to hear lots of "watch me, watch me" as they show their growing independence.
