The Importance of The Early Learning Environment

Updated: Feb 15

The years from birth to 5 years old have been identified as the most important developmental period during childhood. A safe, responsive and nurturing environment provides an integral part of supporting the development of infants, toddlers and preschoolers. As parents, we all look for the best for our children and this often involves decisions we feel we are not quite ready to make.

Our Educators at Dragonfly's Early Learning at Coolum Beach, have been trained in how to support the learning of the different children's age groups. Participating in this environment at an early age helps your child to prepare for entry into school. These days, there are learning expectations and behaviours that are expected of our children that never existed in our time. We need to be aware of them as we all want to give our children the best opportunity to be successful.

Entry into a certified programme such as we provide at Dragonfly's Early Learning at Coolum Beach, also helps to prevent challenging behaviours attributed to particular age groups

Don't waste your opportunity to give your little one a great start to life. It is important to take the step to Early Learning as soon as you are able. Take advantage of the fact that, that little mind is like a sponge during these early years and set them off to a good start.
