The Importance of Group Play

Play is a natural mode of learning for children in the early years. Early learning settings are equipped and organised to facilitate these learning activities.

This morning, our Educators encouraged all our new faces to play in our group game working together as a team to get the parachute moving in sync. This process was also a means of getting the new children to play together to help them to get to know each other.

Small group activities are great for building healthy relationships amongst children.

Children learn through observation and they watch closely how their peers solve problems.

There is little doubt that these activities are enjoyed by all participants. Having their Educators playing with them is what they love and interacting with each other is what they are learning to do

Mission achieved!!! Look at these happy little faces!!
