Raspberry Chocolate Slice

This is a great slice to let the children make. There are just 3 ingredients to add to a Donna Hay Pancake Mix in a jar. Then add the fruit and chocolate topping. So easy!!!

Raspberry Chocolate Slice


1 jar Donna Hay Pancake Mix

25gms melted butter

1 egg

1 cup milk

1 x punnet of raspberries or blueberries or 1 peeled sliced pear/apple

1 bar Cadbury's Caramilk chocolate


  1. Preheat oven to 200C

  2. Prepare a small slice pan measuring 275 x170cm (or the old 11 x 7 inches)

  3. Make sure that all ingredients are at room temperature

  4. Place milk, egg, and melted butter in the pancake mix jar

  5. Shake thoroughly until all mixtures have combined

  6. Make sure that all of the dry mix has been combined

  7. Pour into prepared slice pan and smooth over

  8. Scatter the top with raspberries and chocolate squares

  9. Cook for 15 minutes

  10. Allow to cool slightly before cutting up

  11. Serve with cream, ice cream or custard
