Peek-a-boo is a powerful learning tool. Hiding your eyes while playing peek-a-boo is a fun game for little ones. They often break into peals of laughter when your eyes come back into view. This causes us, in turn, to break into laughter making it such a fun game!!!

One theory on why babies enjoy peek-a-boo so much and find this so funny is that they are surprised when things come back after being out of sight.

Playing peek-a-boo stimulates a baby's senses, builds gross motor skills, and encourages social development but, best of all, tickles the sense of humour

Peek-a-boo also teaches object permanence .... the idea that although something like your smiling face has disappeared, it still exists...it comes back again.

These little ones are loving playing hide and seek and peek-a-boo through the palm trees ️

in their garden. They are so cute!!! Just look at those beautiful smiles.
