Iris Windsor
Traditional Colours for Dot Art

NAIDOC celebrations have been underway at Dragonfly's Early Learning at Coolum Beach.
The little ones have had lots of time and opportunity to learn about First Nation's culture and history and participate in celebrating the oldest continuous living cultures on earth.
This Year's theme was Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! The theme of getting up, standing up, and showing up stems from a history of working towards systemic change and rallying around important issues to foster a better understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
Here we see our little ones creating dot art using the traditional colours of yellow for the sun and red for the earth
