Mums Honey Snaps
Ingredients
1/2 cup of plain flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
2 tablespoons of sugar
3 tablespoons of honey
50g of butter
Method
Set oven to preheat at !80C
Prepare biscuit trays with baking paper and spray
Add butter, sugar & honey to a saucepan.
On medium heat, stir until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat, and add plain flour, baking powder & ginger.
Mix until smooth.
Drop teaspoonfuls of mixture onto a cold oven tray.
Space well as they double in size.
Bake at 180C for 5 mins
Change trays around and bake for another 5 mins or until golden.
Cool on trays until firm, then cool completely on a wire rack.
Store in an airtight jar.
