Mum's Honey Snaps

Mums Honey Snaps


1/2 cup of plain flour

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger

2 tablespoons of sugar

3 tablespoons of honey

50g of butter


  1. Set oven to preheat at !80C

  2. Prepare biscuit trays with baking paper and spray

  3. Add butter, sugar & honey to a saucepan.

  4. On medium heat, stir until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved.

  5. Remove from heat, and add plain flour, baking powder & ginger.

  6. Mix until smooth.

  7. Drop teaspoonfuls of mixture onto a cold oven tray.

  8. Space well as they double in size.

  9. Bake at 180C for 5 mins

  10. Change trays around and bake for another 5 mins or until golden.

  11. Cool on trays until firm, then cool completely on a wire rack.

  12. Store in an airtight jar.
