Moo like a Cow!!

Who doesn't love reading farm animal books? Who doesn't enjoy seeing a beautiful smile break on a child's face when making funny animal noises? Little ones love farm animal books and sounds.

Even if you live in a city or the suburbs, miles from the nearest grazing cow, your child has probably seen or heard about farm animals. Perhaps you have sung "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" or read a story featuring ducks, chickens, or cows. It may all sound like simple toddler fun, but learning this animal vocabulary at a very young age actually helps toddlers develop savvy pre-academic and social skills.

It is easy for children to start combining words using farm animal words like "cows moo" These words are much more fun and engaging when compared to inanimate objects like cars or chairs and will help children later on to follow instructions and understand words like "hop like a bunny"

The children at Dragonfly's Early Learning at Coolum Beach have loved engaging in these stories of animals and their noises

Just look at this little "cutie"!!
