Lets Move it, Move it, Move it!!!

Spending time moving our bodies in different fun ways helps our development.

Last week we incorporated ribbon sticks into our music and dance time.

The children had so much fun twirling and making the ribbons "fly".

Movement provides many opportunities for learning:

Movement helps to wire up the neural pathways in the brain.

Movement , particularly creative movement, supports awareness of self and those around us.

Movement fosters interactions, and co-operation.

Movement helps children to learn to work within the group dynamic and develop the skill of turn-taking.

Such fun!!!!
