Developing Their Inner Artist

Both Art and creativity are interconnected and creative development in children is expressed through their artistic abilities

You may notice that toddler's art starts with what we might consider to be scribblings and scratchings but as they grow and progress, transforms into drawings, paintings and colourings throughout the early childhood period.

Art is how children express themselves when they are actively involved in their own learning.

Other forms of art are expressed through music, acting and play during these early learning years. Over time the children learn new and different ways of self-expression, develop a love of hands-on experiences and the pleasure they experience and give while experimenting with colours and textures.

These photos of the children using their inner artist gave them many opportunities to become adaptable, creative thinkers as they expressed their emotions through their art.
