How Much do the Toddlers Love to Garden?

Updated: Aug 26, 2019

Children love colour especially the Toddlers who treat bright colour with absolute wonder and curiosity. This week the toddlers were planting red petunias and, as you can see, they loved planting them. Just look at the sneaky smile on this lIttle Dragonfly's face!!!

Now......let me see. What do these instructions say????

Gardening with the Toddlers enhances fine motor development. Scooping up the dirt, placing seedlings in pots, and pouring water all take fine motor control and strength.

As children garden, they develop important motor skills that will help them to improve their academic skills such as writing, cutting and typing

Gardening is a great nature play activity. It can give toddlers a lesson on food, nature and the circle of life with play, curiosity and imagination. An added benefit is that children love it!!!
