Fresh Scones are a Treat!!!

Fresh scones are always a treat. They are incredibly easy to make....but I rarely do so!
I have been making this particular recipe for many years so it is an old favourite
You can add 1/2 cup of whatever pleases you or your family to this recipe. .....the choices are endless. See Note below for suggestions

Dragonfly's Plain Scones
Ingredients
3 cups SR Flour,
1 dessertspoon icing sugar,
Pinch salt,
½ cup cream,
1 –1 ½ cups lemonade
Method
1. Heat oven to 220 degrees
2. Sift dry ingredients
3. Cut in cream and milk with a knife
4. Work quickly into a dough on a floured board
5. Flatten to 3-4 cms high rectangle
6. Use a scone cutter to cut scones
7. Place close together on a greased and floured scone tray
8. Bake on top shelf of a very hot oven for 10 to 12 mins
