Art using Leaves

Today the Possums at Dragonfly's Early Learning at Coolum Beach used leaves in their artwork.

The children gathered leaves and coated them with paint which they then printed onto their pages. They loved using the leaf to create a print and were quite excited to see what the print would look like when they lifted their leaf.

They used their fine motor skills to manipulate the brush while they held the leaf and then printed the leaf onto their page.

Some children added extra markings to their page with the brush and their hands displaying their individual creativity.
