Apple and Cinnamon Slice
This really is an "oldie" but so simple to make and is always enjoyed by everyone.

Apple and Cinnamon Slice
Ingredients
I x 340g pkt golden butter cake mix
1 cup (90g) desiccated coconut
125g slightly salted butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped macadamias or almonds (if desired)
400g can pie apple pieces
300g sour cream
2 teasp vanilla
1 teaspoon Cinnamon Sugar
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Grease a 20cm square cake pan
3. Line bottom and the two opposite sides with baking paper,
5. Extend the paper 5cm over the edge of the pan.
6. Combine cake mix, nuts, coconut and melted butter in a medium bowl.
7. Press mixture evenly over base of the prepared pan.
8. Cook for 15 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool slightly.
9. Spread apple evenly over base
10. Mix vanilla with sour cream. Spread sour cream evenly over apple
11. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
12. Cook for further 20 minutes, or until sour cream has set.
13. Cool in pan.
14. Cut the slice into fingers to serve.
15. Serve with ice cream, cream or custard
