About Us

At Dragonfly’s Early Learning, we believe in getting back to basics and building a warm, nurturing and natural place where children feel valued and supported.

Our play-based curriculum is interactive and exploratory. We believe in providing a natural learning experience with a rich variety of sensory materials such as mud, sand and paint, and equipment such as puzzles, lego and music. We also incorporate as many ‘real life’, meaningful play experiences as possible, like wood work, threading, home corner and many more.

Our program is based on the Early Years Learning Framework which aims to extend and enrich children’s learning.

Our passionate educators, provide programs to facilitate and support the development of your child in all areas. Educators plan and implement learning through play, providing children with the skills they need for Primary School.

At Dragonfly's we keep portfolios on each individual child. Portfolios consist of:

  • Learning Stories

  • Observations and Assessments of Learning

  • Photographic entries

  • Artwork

  • Special Event pages

  • Parent Learning Stories
